The rapper who was a part of Chopper City Boyz. Know to the world thanks to B.G. He was shot down 20th April. So this means that he was fallen yesterday. He’s not alone to fall in New Oreleans. The last fallen soldier from New Oreleans was Soulja Slim. Let us remember what they did for the music we all love. Peace

Slim Thug is now on Koch

The boss of the north side of Houston hasn’t made any noise in a long time. It’s a good reason why he hasn’t done anything. Since Slim Thug and Interscope, wasn’t happy with the result of the project Already Platinum.
Yeah, Interscope put him with Pharrell and saw the money-train go fast by without stopping at the bank. Therefore it has been issues between Interscope and Slim Thug. We all know that Already Platinum was released in the year of 2005. That’s 3 years without a check for Slim Thug. Even thou he gave out the Boss Hogg Outlawz on Koch a minute ago. That didn’t sell a lot or even gaining momentum in the stores.
So Slim Thug has made a decision that he splits from Interscope and back too the independent grind. Yeah, you guess right Koch records. The so called graveyard, But that’s shit to say, I will call it a sling shot. Well, if you got a problem at a major company. You can after a while run to something like Koch. Release tracks and give your fans something regularly. With the major you got to wait till the board says it’s fine to let out. Often in line against your own enemy that owns a record label their. So for Slim Thug it was a good move and a career move that is important. That I say because this give he back freedom too choose producers and tracks for the releases.
In his own words:
“It’s gonna be different. You gonna hear a lot more Houston records,” Slim said of his sophomore solo project. “The feedback I got from my fans [about the] last album was that they wanted to hear a lot more Houston records.
So I worked with people out of Houston, a bunch of producers I came up with. I did, like, 30 songs with these cats, so I really got the album done.I’m gonna get, like, two from Pharrell and maybe work with a few other big producers, but keep it Houston.”
Peace
